I picture Goldilocks trying on these Clarks loafers and saying, “Ahh, just right.” The lug sole isn’t too chunky, the toe box isn’t too wide and clownish. The arch support is neither too aggressive (Birkenstock) or too flat (dare I say Rothy’s flats?). The cushioning is noticeable but not marshmallowy. I was drawn to this Clarks loafer mainly because of its price point, good looks and 5 star reviews for comfort.
If you’re looking for a stylish, affordable loafer for a dress casual environment, the Clarks Westlynn Bella is worth a try! Note that if you plan to wear with socks, ordering up a half size may be your best best.
I highlight the comfort features, fit, feel and sizing in my video review.
