I was searching for a comfortable classic beige ballet flat and stumbled across this newer style by Fitflop–the Delicato. These Fitflop flats are feminine, soft, lightly cushioned and even have a removable footbed with minimal to moderate arch support. The slightly squared toe and soft forgiving leather makes bunions and hammertoes happy. The Delicato is quite flexible, so if you have metatarsalgia or hallux rigidus, these probably aren’t for you!
The fit is almost true for my size 10 medium width feet. The length is good and my toes have room, but the sides gape a little–better for a wider foot? Maybe. The heel fits better than the other Fitflop flats I had a few years ago (the Allegro style slipped off my heels). Watch my video review for more details on fit and feel! A rubber sole with slight 1/4″ heel give your heels a little lift off the ground.
